Bacon and Day Silver Bell No. 1

  • Excellent + Condition
  • Year: circa 1929
  • Includes Hard Shell Case
  • Serial #: 25425

This is a beautifully preserved example of the classic Silver Bell No. 1, 19-fret tenor banjo. It is all original including 2-band Grover tuners with ivoroid buttons, armrest, Oettinger tailpiece and knee mute. The finish is original on the flamed maple neck, rim and resonator showing only minor signs of wear. The ebony fingerboard and frets are quite clean, as well. The nickel silver plating is in fine condition. The banjo is outfitted with a nice skin head and is ready to play! No excuses here except the original case is no longer with the banjo. We have included a suitable hard case.
