Beautifully made octave mandolin, "Antoniotsai", featuring fancy inlaid pearl throughout and two soundholes on the top. The large pear shaped body is of rosewood back and sides, with a finely grained spruce top; top, back, soundholes trimmed in abalone, with fantastical vignette of flowers and birds, engraved into pearl on the back; some light surface wear and a few lines of finish checking present on back. The maple neck has a 19-1/8" scale length, profusely inlaid rosewood fretboard with 1-5/16" nut.
