An excellent offering, this is a fine classical mandolin built by the Vinaccia Family of Naples, who were pioneers of the instrument's modern design. The body features 21 maple ribs and maple skirt, rosewood binding, wide grained spruce top w/ inlaid pickguard and fancy pearl rosette. The neck has a 13" scale with grafted peghead; rosewood veneer present on exterior; beautiful inset tuners with small buttons of period material; ebony fretboard with newer frets.
