Larson Brothers made teardrop shaped mandolin distributed by WM. C. Stahl in the early part of the century. Label reads: "Wm C. Stahl, Manufacturer, Wilwaukee, Wisconsin". Flat-back, bent/bound spruce top with fancy inlaid pickguard. Bound rosewood back and sides. Pearl inlays on fretboard and peghead. Engraved tuner plate.
Well repaired back crack, and peghead crack. Fantastic playability...low action all the way up the fretboard. Sound is responsive and punchy.
