This was one of Washburn’s more expensive banjo at the time. It features a 17 fret, maple neck with ebony fingerboard with fancy abalone inlays. The 10 3/4" heavy rim with fancy hardware and large patented tonering is nickel plated. The pie sectioned, mahogany resonator has an lightly engraved flange and has been refinished. Outfitted with a skin head. This is GREAT little banjo for Celtic style or early Dixieland.
