This is a very fancy, early parlor guitar approximately the size of a Martin Style 1 with Brazilian rosewood back and laminate rosewood sides. The spruce top is trimmed with a wide border of gold pearl and marquetry. The 12 fret mahogany neck (with volutte) features a solid, mother of pearl fingerboard with fancy engravings. The bridge is a pyramid style with flattened ends with engraved pearl stars. The guitar is ladder braced. A museum quality piece. Replaced tuners, but period correct.
Included in the sale is a later, bottom loading, soft bag with plaid interior pattern.
