The Vox banjos are noted for their deep tone and were the preferred recording banjo of the 1930s; Vega continued to make these until they were sold to C. F. Martin; Tubaphone tonering on top tension rim set into deep resonator; This model (the Deluxe of Style IV) sports gold, engraved metal parts, and engraved and painted peghead and resonator.
