An extremely clean banjo set up for for Celtic music. This is a mid 20s Vega with Whyte Laydie tone ring on an oversized, 11-13/16" rim. The maple neck shows no wear. It is straight and true suitable for heavier strings required for tuning an octave below a mandolin. The scale length is an easily negotiated 21" making this a suitable crossover instrument for a mandolin player. Geared tuners tastefully added.
