Just when we thought we had seen the last of the "Rochester" banjos, another exciting example has surfaced. Black painted neck (similar to previous examples), replaced ebony fingerboard, replaced nut, tailpiece, bridge. Large 13-3/4" single-lap Brazilian Rosewood rim. Very innovative reverse screw, locking tuners with patent stamps: "HYDE'S PATENT January 13, 1885", replaced tuner buttons on peghead. INCLUDED IN THE SALE IS THE ORIGINAL WOODEN CASE.
