This is a very cool 5 string mountain dulcimer built by Bill Davis at Smoky Mountain Dulcimers out of Gatlinburg Tennessee. Smoky Mountain do build to order dulcimers with excellent workmanship. This specific build is an hour glass body, built from walnut. A cool light grain stripe on the player side of the top. Wooden peg heads and an ornate etched design along with 2 f holes in the body make for a very elegant instrument.
