Little is known about Beuscher Elkhart Trombones with this era of serial number. Speculation is to be reserved, but what we do know, is we have at least student grade horn coming from a lineage of great trombone designs out of the mid west. Beuscher made an economy line of horns in the 1960s known as the Elkhart, what we believe to have. This horn is being sold as is. It has some significant dents and wear to the tuning slide, but fortunately the full slide has been kept in good condition and functions as it should. Comes with original case, and mouthpiece.
