The Universal Favorite was a mid priced, all around player's banjo from the factory of the famed, Philadelphia maker. With its spun over German silver 11" rim and 27" scale cherry neck this banjo was clearly well loved during its 100+ years. Attractive pearl peghead inlay is set into ebony overlay. A nice old time banjo. Missing one hook/nut/shoe assembly.
