The carved spruce top and highly flamed one piece maple back, give it a sound and playability demanded by a serious musican. Other appointments include silver plated engraved tailpiece, Waverly pearl button tuners, pearl headstock logo, unstained 'speed' neck and abalone fern. This is Number 7 of 9 Doyle Lawson signature models and copy of his own Loar signed Gibson F-5. It has been used by Lawson on several recordings and comes with his handwritten letter to this effect.
