Old Wave instruments are handmade by luthier Bill Bussmann in Carballo, NM. He makes professional grade, premium mandolins and mandolas, guitars and basses. This tear drop shaped mandolin features back, sides and peghead overlay of attractive curly maple. The one piece top is perfectly straight grained and equipped with ebony bridge, finger rest and an abalone sound hole ring. The entire instrument is finished in a light sunburst The top and back are bound in ivoroid. It sounds and plays as great as it looks.
