Nicholas Turturro worked at Coney Island NY. He repaired stringed instruments and taught there. His biggest claim to fame was the mandouke. This very rare and clever piece of American history is a tear dropped shaped instrument that is a mandolin on one side and a uke on the other. This one plays great.
