A Morelli violin that proclaims on the label "Morelli: A product of Italian Engineering." However, this was made in Germany ca. 1955. Tight grain European spruce top with a one piece solid maple back and ribs with light curled figures. Currently set up with steel strings which sound exceptionally well for both fiddle tunes and orchestral music. Comes with case, bow, and shoulder rest!
