This issue guitar commemorates the 75th anniversary of the first D-18 with special construction details for the including a one-piece mahogany neck and Waverly butterbean tuning machines. Mahogany back and sides with WIDE grain Adirondack spruce top and Golden Era braces, X-brace moved forward to 1" below the soundhole, Delmar tortoise pickguard. V-shape neck, ebony fretboard (1-3/4" nut, 25.4" scale) Edition Limited to guitars ordered during 2009. Inside label is signed by C.F. Martin IV. This guitar was customized by David Nichols of Custom Pearl Inlay. The company logo in the headstock was change to abalone with an additional vine inlay. The position markers were changed to abalone diamonds and inlay added to the bridge. Number #105
