This is a custom made instrument by Bob Flesher. The instrument is in excellent condition and features lovely abalone inlays on the fretboard and headstock. The rim is laminated maple with curly maple veneer on the inside and out. It is designed after the old AA Farland banjo. The ring has no metal but the head is stretched over the special contour ring itself to produce a very light sweet tone but with excellent volume. Railroad spike set at 7th and 9th frets. The banjo has a custom 1-1/2" wide neck with 3/8" string spacing. Super player!
