This guitar was made in Chanute, Kansas by Ross, Inc. which is known for being the producers of the solid state Kustom amps and cabs of the 1960s/1970s. They also manufactured some guitars and basses including the K200 model. These were only produced from 1967 to 1969, so they are somewhat rare. This guitar features a natural finish on a semi-hollow body similar in design to Rickenbacker’s 300 series guitars with a single triangular cat’s eye “F” hole and double cutaways. The pickups are single coils with two rows of pole pieces. They were designed by DeArmond for Kustom and are similar to those used by Rickenbacker. The bound neck is comfortable with a flat curvature with multiple dot inlays and a rosewood board. The tailpiece is an original Bigsby tailpiece. There is considerable belt buckle wear on the back. Replacement tuners. RARE MODEL Nut width1-9/16th” Scale length: 25"
