A very clean early K-162 electric bass guitar as made famous by Howlin' Wolf bass player Andrew "Blueblood" McMahon. All electronics and hardware are original including "waffle-back" tuners, tailpiece, adjustable rosewood bridge and lipstick tube pickup. Swanky matching pickguard, control knob housing, and heel cap. The bass has a superb/resonant tone plugged in which is aided by the hollowbody feedback resistant design. Arched back / flat top, paired with a round upright bass esque neck with a unique cross-cut rosewood fretb. Structurally sound and cosmetically a very clean bass with minimal playing ware throughout. A strap button was long ago fashioned from the handle fastening of an old Fender amp.
