An unusual mandolin built by artist and luthier Ron Hyde of Chesaw, Washington. A true piece of folk art, this mandolin features a single biscuit cone housed in an all maple body , a hand crafted resonator cover with star embellishments throughout, all in beautiful orange finish. A few cracks have surfaced around the cone crevice that are of no structural concern. Maple neck with a 14.5" scale, and pernabucco fingerboard. Tone is punchy/responsive...also equipped with a pickup.
