The Sho-Bro model, offered in Spanish or Hawaiian versions, was a product of Grestch's attempt to revamp their offerings in the late 1960's Baldwin era. This is a round-neck resonator guitar with 16 & 1/2" lower bout, with a 4 & 1/2" depth. Bound Spruce top with spider-cone resonator/screened soundhole covers on upper bout, bound mahogany back/sides in sunburst. Bound mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, unbound peghead which reads in script: "SHO-BRO, Gretsch".
Common binding deterioration present throughout, possible neck reset evident at heel.
Included in this sale is very fine lined leather gig-bag.
