Great guitar for the price! All measurements and construction features were taken directly from a rare, original 1932 Selmer-Maccaferri guitar to create an affordable, good quality reproduction. Features a top of select solid spruce with rosewood back and sides and a thin, comfortable, bound mahogany neck with a 24-fret extension fingerboard of ebony with pearl-dot position markers.
The large D-shaped soundhole has concentric rings of multicolored wood purfling. The body is bound with solid ebony for durability and beauty with maple/walnut/maple purfling on all edges. The traditional Moustache bridge, also ebony, has a removable center section that is slotted for intonation.
