This is a RARE black faced mandola from the post "Loar" period with a truss rod neck and adjustable bridge. It is all original with one repaired back crack and only slight top sinkage. There is considerable finish wear on the back but the top retains the fine, solid black look. Fitted with Golden Age Restoration tuners. Mandolas are tuned C, G, D, A. Rare and hard to find instrument that sounds and plays GREAT
