Here is a nice player grade vintage 17" archtop. Discontinued in 1942 and reintroduced after the war in 1946, the ES-300 was Gibson's top of the line archtop guitar, equipped with a P-90 pickup for amplification along with a volume and tone control. This particular instrument is missing the original pickguard, and seems to have suffered some minor water damage, which is why the sunburst finish is flaking. The back has also been reglued by our shop, having come to us with the back separated from the side. The guitar is now perfectly stable and ready to be played again! Lastly, the side suffered a crack where the jack is. The side was repaired, and the remainder of the hole is covered up by a maple plate where the jack is now mounted to.
