Gibson's tribute to the patron saint of the bluegrass banjo Earl Scruggs, a replica (first introduced in 1984) of Earl's personal Granada. The Standard features nickel plated hardware to look just like the worn gold plating on Earl's Granada. Figured maple neck and resonator, the fingerboard is ebony with Hearts and Flowers pearl inlays. Multiple white/black/white binding and amber brown finish. Presto nickel plated tailpiece, and armrest, Five Star planetary tuners on the 4th and 1st strings, D tuners on the 2nd and 3rd strings. Original Gibson bridge. Fishman RARE EARTH pickup installed. In excellent condition, some wear on the tailpiece and armrest, but overall a shiny bluegrass machine.
