Very clean, and all original red sunburst with all of the appointments you would expect from Gibson's top-of-the-line A model. Astonishingly well-preserved 98 year old mandolin with little playing wear, and a brilliant sound. Original Handel tuners present, "The Gibson" stamped tailpiece, an earlier Gibson pickguard (complete with clasps) has been retrofitted to the mandolin, bridge is also newer. A fantastic sounding and playing mando. Included in this sale is the original hard case which is in nice functioning condition.
