A nice Gibson A-1 dating from 1918. Lovely wide grain spruce top, with with rich, yellow, "pumpkin-top" finish. This example is complete and original, with the stock pickguard & clamp, tuners, bridge, and tailpiece & cover (original tailpiece cover has been re-engraved). Newer piece of binding is present at end of fingerboard, repaired heel joint. Overspray is present throughout. Includes original bottom-loading soft shell case.
