This is an unusually early plectrum with big, curly maple neck and Gryphon inlay in the peghead featuring a 27 inch scale and long heel carving; ebony fingerboard with engraved dots. The rim is unusually large at 12-1/4 inch and fitted with wire armrest and Kerschner tailpiece. Replacement tuners with original buttons. This was most likely a custom ordered banjo with 1-13/32" nut width.
