A very fine banjo with 10-3/4 inch wood rim with scalloped Whyte Laydie tonering; bound mahogany neck with 26 inch scale, no inlay in peghead; original Champion tuners and non geared fifth. This banjo has all the punch of a Whyte Laydie but is a bit lighter in weight due to the absence of a bracket band. It is an excellent player in very good original condition. 1-5/16" nut width.
