We've got here a bonafide lefty mandolin! Hand carved solid spruce top, hand carved solid back and sides, and ebony fretboard. It sounds fantastic! A very full sounding mandolin that projects exceptionally well! The statements below are the statements from Eastman on why it was marked B-Stock. Both of the hits it took were refinished. The two on the back are not immediately noticeable unless looking for them. The "gashes" on the front have also been refinished, but bubbling has occurred where the neck meets the body and there is some checking on the top around that area, and a little checking on the side an inch from the heel. - Two deep hits in finish on back. - Deep gashes in finish on top above f-hole in waste and cover bout List price is $1,250; MAP price is $1,000.
