A-style body, f-holes with classic spirit varnish finish. This mandolin is all hand-carved solid woods with highly figured maple back and sides, spruce top, maple neck, abalone dot-inlaid ebony fingerboard, adjustable bridge, heavy cast tailpiece. The Shertler pickups on this Mando sound super-real and make this a great ride for a gigging mandolinist, or for the jam session player who wants to cut through on leads. This mandolin has a deep, throaty sound more indicative of an instrument that has been played for a long period of time. Comes with a plush Eastman violin-style case.
