This is an older violin most likely made Eastern Europe. The back is two piece maple with good, strong flame. The top is nicely arched in a "Strad" style. All of the parts are ebony and the body has no cracks but the scroll was broken and repaired. None the less this is a good playing fiddle with lots of life left.
