From the Buckbee Factory of New York, this is a simple entry level banjo with 38 hooks, and a 26" scale mahogany neck. Some replaced hooks and nuts, newer nut, original Elite tailpiece, and friction pegs. A peghead crack was long ago doweled, and it appears that a piece of ebony was scarfed on at bottom of the fingerboard.
