One of the first Japanese tenor banjo Gibson copies, the Aoyama is heavily built with a plywood pot, chrome plated Gibson flathead-style tone ring and mahogany veneer resonator. 19 fret banjo with some fretboard wear and medium fret wear. Has truss rod and single coordinating rod. Set up with a new head. repaired resonator crack. A lesser priced vintage banjo that has been unearthed to quicken once again!
