This violin sports a spruce top with a maple back and sides and ebony fingerboard, tailpeice, and tuning pegs. The violin has a few small cosmetic flaws, some scratches and some fading in the finish where a chinrest once was and appears to have had a repair performed on the neck where it meets the body of the instrument.
