RARE original 5 string model; this is one of the preferred classical banjos with 12 inch maple rim with curved dowel stick and amplifying dish; the maple neck has a 28-1/2 inch scale with fancy pearl inlay in the peghead and small aluminum extension on the fingerboard; rim and neck are trimmed in fancy, wooden marquetry
