a rare and beautiful banjo with an original custom Fairbanks neck featuring Number 7 peghead inlay and exquisitely engraved diamonds and stars in the fingerboard; carved heel. The 10-15/16” rim is marked No. 2 but has the marquetry trim of a number 7 on the rim cap. This banjo was put together from two “orphans” but is is all Fairbanks. Gold planets with pearl buttons added. It is a super player set up with a Renaissance head
