This is a very well crafted violin with a solid spruce top and exceptionally beautiful solid flamed maple back and sides, all of which have been naturally dried for 5 years, and are grade A woods. It features a maple bridge, ebony fingerboard, boxwood chinrest, tailpiece, and tuning pegs, and a traditional hard spirit varnish finish. This is a very warm sounding violin, with TONS of projection. It is very easy to play, with a focused, full sound.
