This is Eastman's flagship model. The AR 805 is our best selling Jazz guitar. Both professionals and advanced students have used these guitars in front of audiences world wide. Years ago, when I placed one in the hands of local guitar guru and Eastman School of Music guitar professor Robert Sneider he responded, "No thanks, I have a Johnny Smith Anniversary". I told him to try the guitar out with his students and in a playing situation. His response was, "This plays better and sounds better than my 'Smith'!". .....This past year we sold the Smith to a new home and Bob now owns five Eastmans. The minimun advertised price is $1995 but this is an old stock model. This guitar does have a couple chips on the headstock and a few dings on the body, but that doesn't take away from its great playablity and sound. There is no fret wear and it has a great working set of Gotoh tuners. 25" scale and 1 3/4" nut.
