BASIC BOTTLE-NECK SLIDE GUITAR WORKSHOP

Saturday, November 21st, 1-3PM, $10

Genesee Johnny and Gordon Munding will  host a basic bottle-neck guitar workshop centered around the keys of D and G, infused with history about how early Blues fingerstyles influenced the music of Doc Watson, The Carter family, and others who found the crossroads of Folk and Blues styles.

$10 to participate in the workshop. Bernunzios will offer a 10% off discount on accessories, strings, slides, etc., for those attending the workshop.

Genesee Johnny is well known for his latest album "National Grid" which was recently well received in City Newspaper. He also host's Rochester's weekly Son House Night, a tribute to Americana Roots and guitar styles. 

Gordon Munding, founded "The Crawdiddies" and has been studying roots guitar fingerstyles for 30 years. He's shared the stage with Doc Watson, and John Hammond Jr among others, and won Rochester's 1st Stan Rodgers songwriting contest.
